🇬🇧 Exciting Drupal Marketplace Update!

In this video, I’m thrilled to share the progress on the website I built for the upcoming Drupal Marketplace. I utilized the Single Directory Component (SDC) and Layout Builder to create a dynamic demo site. I walk you through the features, including how to manage and reorder blocks easily. 0:00: Yes, Drupal Marketplace is around the corner, and that’s why I created this amazing website preparing for marketplace.hydro.com. In this, eh, website, eh, I built, eh, this amazing website using single directory component, SDC, and layout builder. So I took this demo website And did it everything with
0:23: SDC and layout builder. Yeah, this is amazing. So it’s basically, eh, I can click on the layouts and then I can see these, these sections right here.
0:38: And these sections are coming from, from right here. From all these, eh, components, I create a brand that are folder components in my thing, call to actions, features grid, call to action has a few variable variables, like title, description, bottom link, bottom text, and the HTML codes that I copy
0:57: and pasted. And those are basically block types. You can see, again, the call to action. I can click on the manage fields and I can see here the body and the field button.
1:08: So, and they are basically these ones. So I pass those ones in the twig files and I have this amazing, block that I can basically reorder as I want.
1:21: And that is amazing because for instance, I can click on configure and then I can change here blocks. Yoohoo. Yoohoo.
1:29: And now I can click on update. It’s here. And I can save this. I’m saving and it’s here. It’s working.
1:42: I can do a re-arrange of the, of the blocks right here with the layout builder and it’s just amazing. That’s quite straightforward.
1:52: And this is one of the smallest steps that I’m giving in order to be prepared for the Drupal Marketplace. I feel very proud that this is finally done.
